Instead of synchronous sessions the week before school we are offering you the ability to customize your own learning through online teacher technology training. Hopefully this will solve the following issues:

Not all training is essential or relevant to all teachers.

Having training done online you can do it at your own pace and in your own time.

From these sessions you will hopefully have products you can directly apply to your classroom.

The new ISTE NETS for teachers include a standard that all teachers will participate in online professional development.

I will be available all summer to assist you with any questions you have and provide feedback along the way. In each training module I have included multiple ways you can contact me.

We will be launching this formally on Wednesday, July 9th at 8:00 am in the Goodhue High School Lab and I will be available that morning as well as three days near the end of August to assist with any technology integration questions you might have.

If you can't attend the session Wednesday in person you can view it here. I will be streaming the session live that morning and recording the session as well. After the session I will embed a video of the session on this blog.

TV Show hosted by Ustream

-CarlCarl Andersonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07539544230024970483noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7771227363508550049.post-60617152390118532882008-05-07T05:52:00.000-07:002008-05-07T06:07:23.821-07:00May - June Technology Training SessionsFor May and the first week of June the following technology training sessions will be offered:

May 8th 7:30-8:00 - Open Office - Next year we will be switching from Microsoft Office to Open Office.
